# Byte Paste: reusable snippets, prompts and rich material

Store reusable text, AI prompts, rich text, images, links, PDFs and files in NanoMouse cells, then reuse them from the main app, Mac and keyboard.

Byte Paste is a reusable material workspace. Store replies, role instructions, output templates, code, links and reference material in fixed cells. This is different from the chronological clipboard history.

Cells support plain and rich text, images, PDFs, files, Markdown and drawings. Plain text can be inserted through the keyboard. Other formats use copy, preview, export or sharing, depending on iOS and the receiving app.

A sequential paste workflow helps reuse several snippets. Your own devices synchronize through iCloud; network access, account state and system scheduling affect delivery time.

## How to use it

1. Save text or material to a Byte Paste cell in the main app or Mac.
2. Open Byte Paste from the keyboard toolbar and select a cell.
3. Use text directly, or long-press for copy, preview and export options.

## Can I save AI prompts?

Yes. Role instructions, prompt templates, output formats and code snippets can be saved and reused as text.

## Can every file be inserted into any app?

No. The receiving app and OS determine supported formats; copy, export or sharing may be required.
